My own fitness journey didn't begin until I turned 30. I wanted to lose weight after having my son, so I started jogging. At that time, if somebody had said to me that I would go on to run marathons, ultra-marathons and some 25 half-marathons, including Las Vegas, Paris, Venice, I would never have believed them! Running changed my life and it started with bravely taking that first step.

On a voluntary basis, I have worked with and mentored people who were completely new to exercise through to people training for half and full marathons. In doing this, I started to think that becoming a personal trainer was the job for me! So I set about working towards the qualifications and here I am. 

I can help you take that first step with weight-loss, toning, functional fitness or running-related goals. 

If you're new to the gym (I remember how daunting it can be) I have a tried and tested ability to put people at ease. My sessions are designed to be tough of course, but also relaxed and with a bit of fun thrown in.
